On your phone you can look at a progress menu that shows a number of hearts for how many quests you do. This game has quests, there are a certain number you must do before you can earn a ribbon from the races. A storm has apparently gone through the island, destroying some stuff and as you progress you may find yourself fixing things for others. Press up/w to accelerate and down/s to decelerate Spacebar is used to jump on the horse, get off/on the horse and close menus. On PC- to move barbie you press w/up one time to walk and another to run. The weirdest part of this game and it may be confusing at first. It crashes, has graphical bugs, and at the start there is a invisible wall blocking you off during one race. I suggest playing the PC or Wii version as the PS2 emulation with pcsx2 doesnt seem to work very well at all.
